Answer
How should I announce the launch?
Post one announcement in your Telegram channel and one on X, both with the contract address in the text, then spend the rest of the day answering questions rather than repeating it.
Two posts, both with the address
The contract address is the only piece of information that lets someone verify they are looking at your coin rather than a copy. Put it in the announcement itself, in plain text, so it can be copied. A screenshot of an address is useless; a link to a chart that requires a click is nearly useless.
One announcement in the channel, one on X. Not five. Repetition inside a channel reads as desperation and, on Telegram, group messages are limited to roughly one per second per chat and 20 per minute per group, so a rapid burst can get the account limited.
- Say what it is, where the address is, and that the authorities are null
- Do not describe it as an investment or imply a return — most coins go to zero
- Pin the channel post so newcomers find it without scrolling
- Keep the address unchanged in every later post; never retype it, copy it
Then answer, don't repeat
The useful work after launch is answering the specific questions people ask: what the supply is, why the market cap showed a number before anyone bought, where the liquidity went at graduation. Each answer is new information; each re-post of the announcement is noise.
Telegram bots cannot message first, so your outreach is limited to people who come to you or who are already in the channel. A reported account becomes limited, which is why unsolicited bulk messaging is a bad trade.
0.198% of tokens graduate — 1,651 of 832,941 — and 68.67% last trade on their creation day. Plan the day around the possibility that nothing happens, and be honest in the channel if it doesn't.
- Expect and pre-answer: supply, authorities, curve mechanics, creator fee split
- Reply in public where the reply helps others, not in DMs
- Do not send unsolicited DMs to strangers; report-and-block tools exist and are used
What the numbers on promotion suggest
Coins that advertised a Telegram channel graduated at 1.485%, against 0.166% for those that did not. On X the move was 0.149% to 0.227%. These are small effects measured across thousands of launches, and they are the best case for spending money on reach. Announce once, clearly, and put the rest of your effort into the product and the replies.
The same figures apply to launch-day posts: a single clear announcement outperforms a burst, because the burst is read by the same small audience several times and by nobody else. Spend the effort on making the coin's page explain itself, since that is where a curious visitor ends up.
- One post per platform, pinned, with the address in the text
- Answer the questions the page does not answer
- Do not describe the coin as an investment; most go to zero
Related questions
Should I announce before or after the token is live?
After. Announce once the coin exists and you have the mint address in hand, so the first thing people see is something they can verify.
How many times should I post the address?
Once per platform in the announcement, then again only when someone asks. Pinned is better than repeated.
Can I pay someone to promote the launch?
You can, and it must be disclosed as #ad. Measured effects are small — Telegram 1.485% against 0.166% baseline — so treat it as a marginal spend, not a strategy.

If the brand and the page are what is stopping you
Mint a Brand draws the icon, banner and stickers, builds the token site on its own subdomain and prepares the launch for your wallet to sign, for $30. Your wallet pays the network fee and is the creator of record.
