Answer
Why is my token not on DEX Screener?
Because the pair is created by the first trade — a coin nobody has bought has no pair, no price and so nothing for DEX Screener to show.
The first trade makes the pair
A listing on DEX Screener is a view of a trading pair, not of a mint. Until someone buys, there is no pair, no price, and no volume to chart. Creation alone does not produce one, so a coin you launched an hour ago and nobody has touched is invisible by construction rather than by oversight.
This is also why the chart looks strange in the first minutes: the first trade sets a price, and a single small buy can set it a long way from anything that follows.
- No trade, no pair, no chart — that is the whole explanation in most cases.
- The pair appears after the first buy, not at creation.
- Early prices are set by very small trades and move accordingly.
What the public API does not carry
The public pair endpoint returns an image, the websites field and the socials field. It does not return a description. So there is no blurb to write, and no missing paragraph to fix — the text a reader sees about your coin comes from somewhere else, which means your own site, your profile, and the ticker itself.
If you have set an image and links and they are not showing, the pair is usually simply too new, or was created from a mint you did not mean to trade.
- The API carries image, websites and socials, but no description.
- Set the few fields that exist rather than hunting for a text box that does not.
- Point the website field at a page you actually control.
Why it is not trending either
Being listed and being visible are two different things. The trending placement starts around $2,000 and is not free, so a coin with a hundred dollars of volume will not appear there no matter how often you refresh. DEX Screener drew about 18.45M visits in September 2026, which is a lot of people looking at a bar your coin is not on.
The honest move is to check three things in order: has anyone traded it, is the pair the one you think it is, and is your volume anywhere near the trending bar. Two of those are usually the answer.
- Check for a first trade before checking anything else.
- Trending placement starts around $2,000; below that you are not in the running.
- About 18.45M visits in September 2026 means the audience exists — it just is not pointed at your pair.
Related questions
How long until my coin appears?
It appears once the first trade happens, not after a fixed delay. A coin with no buys never appears.
Can I add a description to my pair?
The public pair API returns image, websites and socials but no description, so there is no field to fill. Put the words on a page you control.
My coin traded but still is not showing — why?
Check that the pair is the mint you meant to trade, and that the trade actually settled. Fees are charged even on failed transactions.

If the brand and the page are what is stopping you
Mint a Brand draws the icon, banner and stickers, builds the token site on its own subdomain and prepares the launch for your wallet to sign, for $30. Your wallet pays the network fee and is the creator of record.
